In short
Off-Script is a single-player interactive story game. We, the developer Dry Ice, do not ask for, collect, sell or share your personal information, and your progress stays on your device. The game offers optional rewarded videos from Google AdMob: to load and show them, Google's advertising software in the game collects some information about your device, as described under «Advertising» below.
What stays on your device
- Your story progress, choices, letters and in-game wallet (keys and diamonds).
- Your settings: text speed, sound, language.
- Which seasons you bought and which purchases have already been delivered.
This data is stored only on your device and is never sent to us. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its storage in Android settings, deletes it.
Answers you type
Where the game lets you answer in your own words, the text you type is matched on your device to decide where the story goes. It is not sent anywhere and is not saved.
Notifications
Letters from the characters and key reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No data is sent to show them. You can turn them off in Android settings at any time.
Game engine
Off-Script is built with the Unity engine. We have turned off the engine's diagnostic data collection and hardware statistics, so the game does not send crash reports, diagnostics or information about your device to Unity Technologies or to us.
Google Play
When you install the game from Google Play, Google may collect information under Google's Privacy Policy, for example crash reports and usage statistics that developers see only in aggregated form.
Advertising
When you are waiting for a key, the game offers an optional video: watch it to the end and you get a key. There are no banners, and no ads are shown between episodes. The videos come from Google AdMob, Google's advertising service. To load and show them, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the game collects and sends to Google:
- your device's advertising ID and app set ID;
- your IP address, which may be used to estimate your general location;
- interactions with the game and the ads, such as app launches, taps and video views;
- diagnostic information about how the app and the SDK perform.
Google uses this information to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, under Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. We do not receive this information about you; we see only aggregated reports. Ads are limited to content suitable for teens.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the game asks for your consent with Google's consent form before any video is requested. You can change your choice at any time in the game's settings («Ads: consent»). If you do not consent, the videos you see are not personalised. On any phone you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
Purchases
The game offers optional purchases for real money through Google Play: diamond packs and seasons opened whole. Payments are processed by Google Play under Google's terms and Privacy Policy; the game never sees your payment details. To deliver a purchase, the game receives a record of it from Google Play (the product and an order number) and keeps on your device which seasons you own and which orders it has already delivered, so that a purchase is never given twice. This record is not sent to us or to anyone else. The purchase component in the game (Unity In-App Purchasing) does not send data to Unity Technologies. Refunds and payment questions are handled by Google Play.
Children
The game is intended for players aged 16 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. To remove all game data, uninstall the game or clear its storage in Android settings. For data collected by Google Play and Google AdMob, please see Google's policy; you control ads personalisation as described under «Advertising».
Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, the effective date at the top of this page will change.

«Не по сценарию» (Off-Script) — однопользовательская игра с интерактивными историями. Мы, разработчик Dry Ice, не запрашиваем, не собираем, не продаём и не передаём ваши персональные данные, а прогресс хранится на вашем устройстве. Игра предлагает необязательные ролики Google AdMob за награду: чтобы загрузить и показать их, рекламная программа Google в игре собирает некоторые сведения об устройстве — о них в разделе «Реклама» ниже.
Что хранится на вашем устройстве
- Прогресс в историях, ваши выборы, письма и игровой кошелёк (ключи и алмазы).
- Настройки: скорость текста, звук, язык.
- Какие сезоны вы купили и какие покупки уже выданы.
Эти данные хранятся только на устройстве и никогда не отправляются нам. Удаление игры или очистка её данных в настройках Android стирает их.
Ответы своими словами
Когда игра предлагает ответить своими словами, введённый текст сопоставляется с вариантами прямо на устройстве, чтобы решить, куда пойдёт история. Он никуда не отправляется и не сохраняется.
Уведомления
Письма героев и напоминания о ключах — локальные уведомления, которые запланированы на самом устройстве. Для них никакие данные не передаются. Их можно отключить в настройках Android в любой момент.
Игровой движок
Игра сделана на движке Unity. Мы отключили в нём сбор диагностических данных и статистики оборудования, поэтому игра не отправляет ни отчёты о сбоях, ни диагностику, ни сведения об устройстве — ни компании Unity Technologies, ни нам.
Google Play
Когда вы устанавливаете игру из Google Play, Google может собирать данные в соответствии со своей Политикой конфиденциальности — например, отчёты о сбоях и статистику, которую разработчики видят только в обобщённом виде.
Реклама
Когда вы ждёте ключ, игра предлагает необязательный ролик: досмотрите его до конца — и получите ключ. Баннеров нет, между сериями реклама не показывается. Ролики приходят из Google AdMob, рекламного сервиса Google. Чтобы загрузить и показать их, Google Mobile Ads SDK в игре собирает и передаёт Google:
- рекламный идентификатор устройства и идентификатор набора приложений (app set ID);
- IP-адрес, по которому может определяться примерное местоположение;
- действия в игре и с рекламой — запуски приложения, нажатия, просмотры роликов;
- диагностические сведения о работе приложения и SDK.
Google использует эти сведения, чтобы показывать рекламу, измерять её и бороться с мошенничеством, — в соответствии со своей Политикой конфиденциальности и страницей «Как Google использует информацию с сайтов и из приложений, которые используют сервисы компании». Мы не получаем этих сведений о вас — только обобщённые отчёты. Реклама ограничена содержанием, допустимым для подростков.
В Европейской экономической зоне, Великобритании и Швейцарии игра спрашивает ваше согласие через форму Google до того, как запросит первый ролик. Изменить выбор можно в любой момент в настройках игры («Реклама: согласие»). Если вы не дали согласия, ролики показываются без персонализации. На любом телефоне рекламный идентификатор можно сбросить или удалить в настройках Android («Настройки» → Google → «Реклама» или «Настройки» → «Конфиденциальность» → «Реклама»).
Покупки
Игра предлагает необязательные покупки за реальные деньги через Google Play: наборы алмазов и сезоны целиком. Оплату обрабатывает Google Play по своим условиям и Политике конфиденциальности; игра не видит ваших платёжных данных. Чтобы выдать покупку, игра получает от Google Play её запись (товар и номер заказа) и хранит на устройстве, какие сезоны вам принадлежат и какие заказы уже выданы, — чтобы покупка никогда не выдавалась дважды. Эти сведения не отправляются ни нам, ни кому-либо ещё. Модуль покупок в игре (Unity In-App Purchasing) не передаёт данные компании Unity Technologies. Возвраты и вопросы об оплате решает Google Play.
Дети
Игра предназначена для игроков от 16 лет и не ориентирована на детей младше 13 лет. Мы сознательно не собираем данные детей.
Ваши права
Мы не храним ваших персональных данных, поэтому нам нечего предоставить, исправить или удалить. Чтобы стереть все данные игры, удалите её или очистите её данные в настройках Android. О данных, которые собирают Google Play и Google AdMob, — в политике Google; персонализацией рекламы вы управляете так, как описано в разделе «Реклама».
Изменения
Мы можем обновлять эту политику. Тогда изменится дата вступления в силу в начале страницы.
